Vipareet Raja Yoga

Vipareet can be defined as unfavourable circumstances, so this yoga is generally mysterious in nature and is usually a common yoga.

Vipareet raja yoga is a powerful yoga which forms when the house lord of 6th, 8th and 12th houses are either in thier own sign or exchange their sign placements.

if lord of 6th house is posited in of 6th, 8th or 12th house, then this combination results into vipareet Harsha raja yoga.

Now if, lord of 8th house is posited in of 6th, 8th or 12th house, then this combination results into vipareet Saral raja yoga.

And if, lord of 12th house is posited in of 6th, 8th or 12th house, then this combination results into vipareet Vimal raja yoga.

Now each vipareet raja yoga give more or less a similar effect in native's life and the terminology is used for us to differentiate better.

If 6th house lord, 8th house lord and 12th house lord are exchanging sign placements in any house {kendra or trikon} this is similar to a parivartan yoga but is defined as Vipareet raja yoga since it is happening through dusshtanna house lords.

The vipareet raja yoga usually only gives results in the time period or dashas of that planet and until then any noticeable effects of this raja yoga are difficult to manifest.

How are the results

There's a pre-condition to this Yoga. Since vipareet can be translated to unfavourable circumstances, during the dasha of that planet, it usually manifests some unfavourable circumstances in your life. they could be related to anything from your health, professional life, personal life etc.(depends on the nature of planet) because this yoga can only benefit the native in unfavourable events and can only activate if these circumstances are present.

Vipareet circumstances will be present initially before this raja yoga gives any resuts and it also manifests differently than the original kendra or trikona raja yogas.

After it creates an unfavouarble circumstance, this yoga provides you a sudden oppurtunity which was not really expected by you in that troublesome time period and with the help of the oppurtunity the native comes out of that difficult time period.

The native has to undergo some transformation through the challenging time period before he comes out of it.

When is Vipareet Raja Yoga strong enough to manifest?

  • when 6th, 8th and 12th house are forming viapreet raja yoga and the planets are afflictaed in the horoscope usually via weak placement of Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. During the time period of 6th, 8th or 12th house lord, some unfavourable circumstances will be present in native's life since they are dusshtanna houses. And the good oppurtunity that would've manifested is really difficult to manifest without struggle and hard work from the native's side. And the native would have to work hard to maintain that balance even after coming out of that struggle. It's in a way their karma to go through this. This is the least powerful vipareet raja yoga.

  • Slightly powerful viapreet raja yoga occurs when 6th, 8th and 12th house lords are exchanging their signs and they are not afflicted. The native may not have to undergo lot of stress during the dasa of these planets since they are capable to provide necessary oppurtunities to the native after some effort.

  • the most easy transition or a superior vipareet raja yoga when the planets are also forming a kendra-trikon raja yoga. eg: for libra asc. mercury and venus are 12th and 8th house lords and if they are sitting in 1st house and 9th house respectilvely then this is a raja yoga + vipareet raja yoga. The native not only gets out of the difficult times caused by dashas but actually gets an oppurtunity to gain from it suddenly.
